Play It Loud: Opening Party at The Met

The Metropolitan Museum of Art opened their Play It Loud: Instruments of Rock & Roll exhibit with a grand celebration on April 1st, 2019. The exhibit examines rock & roll as one of the most important artistic movements of the twentieth century, and looks at its seismic influence across culture and society. With many of his instruments being featured in the new showcase, Steve Miller attended the opening party as a guest speaker.

After browsing the exhibit with other rock & roll icons including Jimmy Page and Don Felder, Steve joined The Roots on stage for a special performance of the timeless classic, “Fly Like An Eagle.”
